Virallisten kilpailuluokkien lisäksi järjestetään myös pentu- (5- alle 7kk & 7- alle 9 kk), turisti- ja jälkeläisluokka.

Tuomarimme pyynnöstä tulemme noudattamaan näyttelyssä seuraavia erikoisjärjestelyjä;

On request of our judge we will follow special rules due to the COVID-19 situation; social distancing, no hand shakes, handler shows the bite and dentition, good hygiene including use of hand sanitizer and proper use of face masks.

Erkkari lähestyy ja koiria on ilmoittautunut huikea määrä, kiitos tästä aktiivisuudesta kaikille!
Elämäämme varjostaa korona nyt joka kolkalla ja koko ajan enenevässä määrin, emmekä voi ummistaa silmiämme siltä tässäkään tilaisuudessa. Ehdotankin, että toimimme esimerkillisesti ja yhdessä otamme tapahtuman teemaksi turvallisuuden. Tämä tarkoittaa sitä, että pidämme reilut turvavälit, emme kättele, koiran esittäjä näyttää purennan ja hampaat, noudatamme hyvää hygieniaa kera käsidesin ja käytämme kaikki suojamaskia.
Jos joku on käynyt ulkomailla riskialueilla, toivon totisesti viranomaisten vapaaehtoista karanteenia noudatettavan! Ja se nyt on selvää ettei kukaan tule kipeänä paikalle. Riskiryhmäläisiä on joukossamme useita, kunnioitetaan toisiamme! Viestini on, että pidetään yhdessä ikimuistoinen ja hyväntuulinen erkkari – kaikille meille TURVALLISESTI näissä poikkeusoloissa.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The Akita speciality show is approaching and we have received the following message from our judge. The same message has been sent via email to all exhibitors on 19th of September.
Dear akita enthusiasts,
The Akita speciality show is approaching and there has been a record amount of akitas entered. Thank you for your activity in entering your dogs to the show!
Our lives are being affected all around the world by COVID-19 and we cannot close our eyes from it even in this speciality show event. I would like to propose that we would show example and together commit to protect each other’s health. This means that we will keep appropriate social distancing, no hand shakes, handles shows the bite and dentition, good hygiene including the use of hand sanitizer and face masks.
In case you have been abroad in risk areas I truly hope you are following the voluntary quarantine recommendations as instructed by the Finnish officials! I think it is also clear that no one should participate in the event if they are not healthy. There are vulnerable people in our community that are at high risk due to the virus, let’s keep everyone safe!
My message is that let us have an unforgettable and high spirited speciality show – SAFELY for us all in these unprecidented times.

This message is especially important to all handlers who are unable to keep the 1,5-2 meter distance from each other and the judge in the show ring. All handlers need to wear a face mask when handling the dogs in the ring. Please pay attention to proper use of the face masks.
We have online results service which means that the critique and the results will be available online. The critique will be sent via email to the exhibitor. All prices and price cards can be collected from the ring applying social distancing.
Please follow guidance by the staff at all times to ensure that the following arrangements are applied.

Esa Ruotsalainen – varatuomari / reserve judge
Olen Esa Ruotsalainen Lammilta. Koirien pariin olen käytännössä syntynyt, sillä lapsuudenkodissa on aina ollut koiria. Leikin lapsuuteni suomenpystykorvien kanssa ja tarkkaavainen lapsenvahtini oli saksanpaimenkoira. Ensimmäisen oman koirani ostin itselleni rippilahjaksi ja se oli suomenpystykorva. Myöhemmin oma lähes 25 vuotta kestänyt kasvatustyö on tullut tehtyä saksanpystykorvien ja suomenlapinkoirien parissa. Taloudestamme löytyy neljä Vuolasvirta -palkintoa ja olemme omistaneet/kasvattaneet yli 130 kansainvälistä muotovaliota.
Ryhmä 5 on ”kotiryhmäni” ja minulla on oikeudet arvostella siitä kaikki rodut. Lisäksi ryhmistä 7&6 on paljon jo oikeuksia. Työn alla ovat myös ryhmät 8&1&4. Laajentaminen on ollut varsin maltillista, sillä työ, perhe, oma kasvatus ja arvostelukeikat on kaikki sovitettava yhteen ja välillä se on varsin haasteellista.
Ihanneakita on sopivan vahva, tasapainoisesti kulmautunut ja rakentunut koira jolla on juuri se akitan omaleimainen oikea ilme ja selvä urajiro. myös kunnon karva laatuineen ja kuntoineen täytyy löytyä. Lisäksi kun tämä luomus liikkuu sujuvasti ja esiintyy aristokraattisen ylpeästi, niin siinä se on! Jos akita sijoittuu minulla ryhmässä, niin siinä on ollut nämä em palikat hyvin paikoillaan.

RESUME;
The first dog I ever owned was a female Afghan Hound when I was 20 years old. I have showed her, finished her Japanese title, and started breeding Afghans. Since then, I have visited the AHCA National Specialty Show every year, and All Breed Shows in Australia, U.S.A., FCI World Show and the Crufts, and made many friends. After I married Yoshiro, we have been importing many Afghans from U.S.A, Australia, Italy and Norway and showed them to finish the JKC champions, and FCI champions. We have been breeding Afghans under the Gran Rowa Kennel, and one of our bitches finished the US title.
I was a chairwoman of SHIMIZU SEASIDE KENNEL CLUB the regional all breed club. We have invited many foreign judges, and organized the All Breed Shows every year along with the Afghan Hound Specialty shows. From 2016 I represent the SIGHT HOUND CLUB as a chairwoman. I am also a vice-chairman of Chubu Block Judges Committee.
I have been working at the dog show as an Announcer and an interpreter for the foreign judges for 10 years , and also as an seminar interpreter. In 2003, I have obtained the qualification for judging Afghan Hound, Whippet, Borzoi, Saluki, Italian Greyhound from the Japan Kennel Club. Today I am an FCI International All Breed judge. I have judged national dog shows in Japan and foreign All Beed shows in Australia, USA, Lithuania, and Hound Group Show in U.S.A.
I am looking forward to judging wonderful akitas!
